Lima: January 11, 2016 at age 92. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mefus (Thomas) Edwards; children, Ann (Eric) Smith of KS, Dr. D. Kerry (Pauline) Edwards of CO, Kayren (Rev. Chris) Lonneville of Warsaw; sister, Beryl Edwards & brother, Maldwyn Edwards both of Wales; 8 grandchildren and an ever increasing number of great grandchildren. David was a Lieutenant in the British Armed Forces during WWII. He was ordained to the ministry in 1953, joined Elim Fellowship in 1964, President-Emeritus of Elim Bible Institute and an Elder of Elim Fellowship.

Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the O'Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima. Thursday at 10 AM, his Funeral Service will be held at Elim Gospel Church, 1679 Dalton Road, Lima. Interment, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the EBI Scholarship Fund, 7245 College Street, Lima, NY 14485.
